More like a jewelers than a butchers, My mum went to get me a birthday treat and when she arrived the girl serving said we have various packs available from Australian to Highland. She then went from one side of the fridge to the other secretly looking under the vacuum packs to see the price, this ones 16 that ones 25 and so on. There was no detail on the top of the packs with weight or price. My mum went for a pack costing 44 thinking there would be more in it. When she got home she opened the pack to find 1 steak!!!! Not enough to feed the 3 of us. she was upset and felt as though she had been misled. Do meat products not need to have a weight and price marked on them... all the main shops seem to. I have contacted the local trading standards to try and find out if this is right.To make it worse after we trimmed the thick white fat it only left about 150g of steak you could eat!!! so i got a 50g steak birthday treat.if i here from the trading standards i will edit the post......In reply to the owners comments..The pack was not put on scales!! a price per kg was not mentioned!!The pack was pre priced on the underside.i am not interested in how much the meat cost to produce, you are missing the point, gold bars are expensive but i would like to know the weight and price before i bought one!!Why not have a price ticket and weight clearly displayed on the top of the pack. I await the trading standards report.

If you have never tried Wagyu beef, you should visit The Wagyu house, this speciality meat is to die for. It can be expensive as the steak I'm the picture is 900grams and cost 304!!! But steaks are available from 9, they also have various sausage and pies.
