Food very good and freshly cooked, service excellent. Will definitely go back.
Good atmosphere. There are even some games for a little bit extra fun. Highly recommend but the pub is small. I've heard great things about the tapas but never tried it for myself.

Chose The Crook Bar as No. 2 son wanted tapas. I used to come here many years ago when it was a charming little pub. It still has charm and very friendly service. Food was good.It was a fairly quiet Sunday night but then they ran a quiz and it filled up. We couldn't wait to the end of the quiz (despite being in second place because I played our Joker at the right time). Would definitely go back.People can't get enough of Malky McEwan, bestselling author. His number one guide to Scotland 'If it Wasn't for the Midges' is available in paperback and on kindle at Amazon. Oh boy, another one who almost touched the magic.
